Carmel Dansou, a PhD candidate in the Computational Condensed Matter Group led by Distinguished Professor Laurent Bellaiche, was awarded the Dissertation Research Award from Fulbright Arts & Science college for Spring 2025. Congratulations to Carmel, whose work has focused on modeling the effect of light on the atomic structure of functional nano materials and has already led to 3 publications (see links below)!
